Group Learning
Group learning skills refer to the cognitive, social, and emotional abilities that individuals need in order to participate safely and effectively in a group learning environment. Skills in the Group Learning GFA are closely correlated with general Executive Functioning Skills. Multiple skill areas will overlap with this GFA such as Adaptability and Flexibility, Self Regulation & Managing Emotions, and Self Advocacy. Component skills in the group learning domain include, but are not limited to shifting and prioritizing attention, using materials safely and as designed, transitioning, and remaining in the designated area.
