Our Day Program serves disabled adults ages 21+, offering a safe, structured, and affirming environment to learn, connect, contribute, and thrive. Rooted in a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, relationship-based model, the program emphasizes meaningful engagement, autonomy, dignity, and authentic community participation.
Participants take part in individualized and small-group experiences that build real-life social, emotional, vocational, and daily living skills through hands-on learning and shared activities. Consistent routines, clear expectations, and strong relational support help adults feel grounded and confident, while choice-making and self-advocacy are embedded throughout the day.
Staff follow evidence-based practices, treatment-fidelity guidelines, and individualized support plans that honor each person’s strengths, communication style, sensory needs, and goals. Instruction is flexible, differentiated, and centered around meaningful participation—not compliance—ensuring that every adult is respected as an active partner in their own growth.
The program is available through the “goods & services” portion of the DDD budget, with private pay options also available. To maximize growth and support continuity of learning, we recommend that participants enroll 2-3 days per week to complement other services, community programs, and meaningful routines.
Our goal is to foster belonging, competence, and connection, empowering participants to build skills that enhance independence, community engagement, and quality of life in ways that feel relevant, validating, and personally meaningful.
