Nonverbal Communication

 

Nonverbal communication refers to the ways in which people communicate without using words, including gestures, facial expressions, body language, and tone of voice. These nonverbal cues can be just as important, if not more important, than verbal communication in conveying meaning and emotions. Component skills in this global focus area (domain) include utilizing gestures to convey meaning in communication, as well as interpreting and responding to the nonverbal communication of others.
